I’m Soheil Soheili, a musician, producer, and cultural organizer working at the intersection of experimental sound, noise, and intercultural collaboration. I grew up in Tehran, and my earliest musical memories are from the early ’90s, learning alongside my music-loving father.
My early career blended music, DIY electronics, and underground art culture. I co-founded one of the first active graffiti crews in my city, built makeshift skateparks with friends, and began DJing and producing music in alternative spaces. Over time, my focus shifted towards sound engineering and production — collaborating with diverse artists, producing albums, and providing live sound for jazz, experimental, and interdisciplinary performances.
Since moving to Germany, I have expanded my work internationally, producing for other bands and ensembles, curating experimental sound events, and collaborating with visual and digital artists. My recent work includes audio production for intercultural projects, live sound for festivals, and creating bespoke sound designs for multimedia performances.
From 2019 onward, through aNoise — the independent, artist-run label I co-founded — I’ve facilitated releases for artists working in experimental and noise-based practices, connecting them to audiences across Europe and beyond.
